Synodal Path: Pope Francis has invited every member of the Church throughout the world to share their experiences, insights and hopes for the Church. Many thanks to those who joined the discussion on Tuesday last. There is still time for you to get involved and respond to the invitation from Pope Francis. Visit dioceseofkerry,ie and continue to the synod page, where you will find information on how to participate.

Daily Prayer for Synodal Listening
God our Father, Pope Francis has asked us to pray, discuss and listen, so that we might grow stronger in communion, more aware of our mission, and truly participate in the life of our Church. May the Holy Spirit help us to hear His voice during this time of listening in our Diocese. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Prayer for the People of Ukraine
Loving God, we pray for the people of Ukraine, for all those suffering or afraid,
that you will be close to them and protect them.

We pray for world leaders,
for compassion, strength and wisdom
to guide their choices.

We pray for the world;
that in this moment of crisis,
we may reach out in solidarity
to our brothers and sisters in need.

May we walk in your ways
so that peace and justice
become a reality for the people of Ukraine
and for all the world.Amen.

Our Lady, Queen of Peace, pray for us!
Our Lady of Kyiv, pray for us!

Gluten Free hosts are available from the Priest at communion time.

Thought for the day The rush to judgment, so evident in our public discourse, is matched only by the resistance to forgiveness. Endlessly, we investigate, accuse, judge. As we all know, what is needed eventually is forgiveness, but where do we find it? In the Christian vision we do not have to carry the burden of our guilt forever precisely “because God in his forbearance had passed over the sins previously committed.” (Rom 3:25 NET) In the current idiom, “we do forgiveness” and so we should! Prayer: God, whose name is mercy, we thank you for your gracious compassion to all. We ask that, as we have received, so we may give and forgive. Amen.

Parish Masses: If feeling healthy and well, you are encouraged to attend any Mass at this time. It will no longer be necessary to wear facemasks at Mass. However, should people wish to continue to wear masks, they are welcome to do so. The following measures will remain in place:
(i) Communion can only be received in the hand for the moment.
(ii) hand sanitisation is advised.
(iii) You can place your offering for the offertory collection in the building fund boxes at the back of the churches.
Your co-operation is very much appreciated. Parishioners are encouraged to attend Mass in a nearby Church if there is no Mass in your nearest Church.

Pope Francis – Tweet: Lent invites us to conversion, to a change in mindset, so that life’s truth and beauty may be found not so much in possessing as in giving, not so much in accumulating as in sowing and sharing goodness.
