The annual collection for the sick and retired priests of the diocese of Kerry will be taken up this weekend July 4th and 5thas a second collection after Communion. This fund provides for the maintenance of priests of the diocese who are now retired after many years of ministry or who become ill during their ministry. Your generous support of this collection is most appreciated by Bishop Murphy and the priests of the diocese. An envelope is provided in your box of yearly envelopes and some are available at the back of the Church. Please return the envelopes to your Parish Church or Presbytery.

As it is now possible for our parish to claim back tax paid on charitable donations, our Parish Finance Committee will be contacting eligible households during the coming week. If you have contributed €250 or more last year and are a PAYE worker, we can claim back the tax paid on the amount you donated. All you have to do is complete and return the form which you will receive. Completing the form will cost you nothing, but will greatly benefit the parish.

Kingdom Care which supports carers and older people in their home is holding a county wide recycling collection on Saturday July 11th in 8 venues including the Skelligs Hotel. See Notice in Church Porch. The organizers of the Fundraising walk in memory of Maurice Griffin, wish to thank all those who participated or helped in any way and also those who could not participate but donated generously towards this Fund to purchase Defibilators in the Camp Area. The amount raised was over €2,300.
