Blessing of Throats
St. Blaise is the patron saint of sore throats and his feast day falls on Monday next February 3rd. There will be blessing of throats after all Masses on Saturday and Sunday.
Through the intercession of Saint Blaise, bishop and martyr, may God deliver you from all ailments of the throat and from every other evil: + in the name of the Father,
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Our Lady of Lourdes – World Day of Prayer for the Sick
Mass will take place in St. Mary’s Church on Tuesday February 11th at 3pm for all the sick of the parish. Anointing of the sick will be administered during the Mass. All welcome.

You are invited to write a petition and/or thanksgiving note and drop it in the box at the end of the church. This box will be brought to the altar at the 3pm Mass on Tuesday 11th, World Day of Prayer for the Sick.

Candles for graves are available from the Parish Office or after weekend masses, €4 each or 3 for €10.

Diocesan Collection for Lourdes Helpers will be taken up next weekend Feb 8th/9th as a second collection after communion.
Music Workshop: Dr John O’Keeffe will present a workshop of liturgical music on Tuesday, March 10th at 7:30pm in John Paul II Pastoral Centre, Killarney. John will present material from his new collection Feasts and Seasons II. The cost for the workshop is €5.00 per person.
