Thought for the day:
Again today we have two versions of the one parable, the original and a later church interpretation. Communities of faith are always “mixed,” in that some people are fully engaged, some are half-hearted and many, perhaps most, are somewhere in between. What to do? The temptation to go for a radical, purified church has been a recurring one across history. The teaching of this parable is let things alone – it is not for us to judge. It could be (we hope!) that less committed believers may change and a welcoming, compassionate approach may enable that to happen. Prayer: Jesus, your compassion to all inspires us today to recognise our own need of your grace. Help us work on the plank in our own eyes before we dare to recognise, much less to offer to remove, a splinter in our neighbour’s eye.

Cemetery Masses will not take place this year due to Covid-19 Coronavirus.

Attending Mass Guidelines:
You are asked to follow best practice guidelines when deciding about attending Mass and if yes is the answer to any of the following then you are encouraged to please stay away from Mass for the time being.

Parish Masses: We are happy to say that public Masses in our Parish resumed on Tuesday June 30th at 10.00am. It was great to have a congregation again. The experience so far has been positive. People have been patient and observed social distancing. There are a few obvious changes in seating and movement but the primary aspect of the Church as a place of prayer remains.
Anybody who wishes to attend weekdays Masses are welcome to do so. No booking required. Just arrive and sit in an allocated space. The following applies for the weekend Masses. You are asked to phone the office at 066-9151208 to let us know what Mass you would like to attend. Please phone at the following times only: 2.00pm – 4.00pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday giving your name and number of persons (if more than 1). As the numbers are limited you might not get your preference, we ask for your patience.
When you get to the Church you are asked to use the Hand Sanitizers provided and follow instructions from the stewards.
For the first few weeks we will celebrate Mass in St Mary’s, Dingle only. Masses will be at the following times 6.15pm and 8.00pm on Saturdays and on Sundays at 10.00am and 11.30am. Your co-operation is very much appreciated. In line with the Government guidelines, the following will apply:
