Thought for the day: Our conviction is that
God loves us wholly, in the double sense that
he loves us fully and completely and his
desire is that grace should touch every
dimension of our lives. Anyone who has
made the discovery of faith, like the merchant
in search of fine pearls, will know what is
meant: it is so wonderful that it leads to a
discipleship costing not less than everything.
It can be daunting, of course, but it leads to
life in abundance (Jn 10:10). Prayer: God of
the covenant, faithful and true, you offer us
both love and a way of living. As we embrace
your love for each of us, help us so to live
that we may fully alive with your Good
    News. More information: tarsus.ie
Pope’s Intention for July: We pray that
Catholics may place the celebration of the
Eucharist at the heart of their lives,
transforming human relationships in a very
deep way and opening to the encounter with
God and all their brothers and sisters.
Gluten Free hosts are available from the
    Priest at communion time.

    Prayer for Vocations
God our Father, send workers into your
harvest. May the Spirit we received in
baptism touch the hearts of many to offer
themselves in priesthood, religious life and
other forms of service. Give the parents and
families of our diocese the wisdom and
courage to support young people in searching
for and following the call of God in their
    lives, Amen. Contact info@vocations.ie.

July 26th is the Feast day of Sts Joachim
    and Anne, Grandparents of Jesus.
    Prayer for Grandparents
    Lord Jesus,
you were born of the Virgin Mary,
the daughter of Saints Joachim and Anne.
Look with love on grandparents the world
over. Protect them! They are a source of
enrichment for families, for the Church and
for all of society. Support them! As they
grow older, may they continue to be for
their families strong pillars of Gospel faith,
    guardians of noble domestic ideals,
    living treasuries of sound religious
traditions. Make them teachers of wisdom
and courage, that they may pass on to
future generations the fruits of their mature
    human and spiritual experience.
