A Reflection to God

We call it mercy – it is God’s forgiving love.
We call it providence – it is God’s caring love.
We call it kindness –
it is God’s understanding love.
We call it happiness –
it is God’s encouraging love.
We call it the will of God –
it is unerring love.
We call it heaven – it is God’s rewarding love.
We call it eternity – it is God’s unending love.

Smaoineamh
Which group am I in? It is always tempting to step in and take the credit for work done. Much morze important is the work we do ourselves. Sometimes it may be ordinary and mundane. Sometimes it may require hard work and sometimes it is done quietly and without fuss. The same goes with God’s work. We are all called to work in the vineyard and do our bit to make God’s presence in our world alive, active and relevant. Some may leave it to others and try to take all the credit. But at the end of the day it is God who ultimately knows the work we do, the sacrifices, the efforts and the commitments we make. God never forgets and will always give us the credit.

Pray for Máire Ní Shé, Cillirith; Eilín Uí Chaomhánaigh, a cailleadh le déanaí i gCill Dara (nee De hÓra, ó Bhaile Chóta). Suaimhneas síoraí dá n-anamacha.
