Trócaire and Dues Envelopes 2020
You should have received the Spring and Easter Dues Envelopes and Trócaire Boxes by now. Please contact the person that normally delivers your envelopes if you haven’t received them. The Permanent Diaconate: The diocese of Kerry is seeking candidates who feel they may have a calling to be permanent deacons. The diocese already has six deacons. The hope is to begin a “come and see” programme next autumn. Any interested candidates should establish contact via a local priest or the diocesan office (admin@dioceseofkerry.ie). Bishop Ray.

LENT 2020: Lent is a season that has a great appeal for many people. There are still the things we like to give up or to do for Lent. However, for some of us, the good intentions on Ash Wednesday don’t carry us through to Easter Sunday. This year the Liturgy group has adapted a program which has been used by some other parishes. Each week, we will focus on a different theme: This week we focus on the Stations of the Cross and on Friday March 6th we will reflect on the Stations at 7pm in St Mary’s Church. Copy of our Lenten Program is available at the back of all 3 churches.
Lenten Speaker: Fr Dónal O’Connor, Chaplain to IT Tralee will give a Talk, ‘Tears of God’ on Thursday, March 12th in Benner’s Hotel, Dingle at 8pm. Fáilte roimh chách.

The Diocese of Kerry invites you to share your thoughts on the future of parish. Through a series of one-night meetings being held in different venues throughout the diocese, all are invited to share how they imagine the parish of tomorrow can thrive, given the changing society in which we live.
