Machnamh

Good and gracious God,
You have bestowed abundant blessings
On our Community
You have blessed us with eyes that see,
Hearts that dream,
And talents to build

We are a grateful people
Who yearn to be good stewards
Of all you have given

Send your Spirit that we may live
As people in partnership with you
Fill us with courage
Vision and hope
As we celebrate the experience of
Jesus Christ
In our daily lives.
Amen

Smaoineamh
How do we know when we have fully discovered our gift? How will I know that this is really my gift? Very few do because each day presents us with a new gift waiting to be discovered each day. Our gift in life is to believe in ourselves, to believe in our potential goodness and love, to use all our stumbling blocks we encounter as stepping stones and to believe that God walks with us on this journey. We can’t ever hoard or lock away God’s blessings in our lives. Our greatest discovery is to know that this supply is endless. Our gift is to appreciate these blessings, live them, love them and share them.
Pray for: Fr. James Downey, Fatima Home, Tralee and late of Castleisland and former Curate in Dingle; Pat Cashen, late of Grey’s Lane who died in Alberta, Canada; Paudie O’Sullivan, Athlone and late of Túirín na Gréine, Churchfield who died in Ontario, Canada; Billy McCarthy, Lixnaw, Baile Uí Shé and New York.
