Dear Parishioner,
We are coming to the end of the Pauline Year which celebrates the 2000th Anniversary of the birth of St Paul. In order to mark this occasion in honour of the ‘Apostle of the Gentiles’, there will be a series of talks entitled The Legacy of St Paul at An Díseart on the Wednesday evenings of June.
These talks are designed to be a ‘beginner’s introduction’ to the life, teaching and importance of this great saint. We hope that these talks will help people to better understand the writings of St Paul which we hear at Mass every Sunday. The talks will be given by Fr Jim Sheehy of the Díseart and parish curate Fr Bernard Healy. Each talk will conclude with an opportunity for discussion, a brief prayer and some light refreshments.
