Excess of Income over expenditure for the year €39,281.72.  During the year, the parish made deposits of €35,000 to the Kerry Parochial Trust to provide for future income and capital expenditure.
Note A: Income Item 7 and Expenditure Item 18 cancel each other out because these figures represent the second collections taken up at various times during the year.  These monies are sent on to the Diocese for distribution.
Note B: ‘Other income’ includes the collection take up for the expenses of our Parish Mission and monies received from the other parishes in the Pastoral Area for supplying them with Holy Oils.
Note C: This tax rebate is made possible by those PAYE households who made use of their envelopes and who returned the ‘taxback’ form last year.  We sincerely thank all of you who signed up to this appeal and ask all householders who verifiably contribute €250 or more to our Parish to consider doing likewise in our 2011 campaign.
Note D: The Rathmore Fund provides for the welfare of the Sick and Retired Priests of the Kerry Diocese. We invite all of you who are supporting this Diocesan Fund by Direct Debit to kindly inform Teach na Sagart so that your gift to the Diocese may be included in Dingle Parish taxback campaign as in Note C above.
Note E: Christmas Crib Mission Appeal was divided between South Africa Voluntary Lay Mission Project and the Order of Malta Maternity Hospital in Bethlehem.
NB: Clergy Income: The Priests’ Income comes from two main sources: (A) Envelope Collections: November Offerings; Christmas Dues; Easter Dues and Stations. (B) Offerings received for Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals and Mass Stipends. The weekly Church collection is for the running of the Parish as detailed above.
CORPUS CHRISTI: Do This in Memory – Déanaigí É Seo i gCuimhne 2011

Dingle Parish Pastoral Council and Liturgy Group acknowledge all those who prepared, organized and participated in last Sunday’s Corpus Christi Procession together with an Garda Síochána and our stewards. Special thanks to all the residents of resplendent Marian Park for their memorable preparatory work and reception hosting our Benediction, also to all the homes and premises on the route who put out Altars and shrines in welcome.

Comhghairdeas leo araon agus do ghach teaghlach agus tigh ghnó as ucht na haltóirí agus scrínte a bhí le feiscint ar an tslí. Tréaslaímid our 33 First Communicants, their families and teachers and in particular our generous Parent Contact Leaders of Do This in Memory 2010 – 2011.

“Ní neart go cur le chéile”             “Moladh go deo le Dia na Glóire.”
