Stations – Invitation
Celebrating the Station Mass in the home enables us to share our faith at the table of the Eucharist inviting the Lord’s blessing on our community. Gathering after the Mass, meeting and chatting with neighbours is also an important part of the occasion. We welcome anyone who would like to host a station Mass in their home. St. Augustine put it well by saying our hearts are never at rest until they rest in the Lord. It is good to have access to somewhere safe and secure in this world to retreat to. Every single one of us needs some form of shelter from those severe and serious storms of life. We also need shelter from a world whose pace is constant, demanding and often unforgiving.
You Lord, are our shelter and our harbour. Protect and guide us, when life and all around us gets rough and stormy. Protect and guide those who are close and near to us. Amen.
Green Street and Car Park Open for Masses
Parishioners can access the usual parking for Masses next weekend, September 30th and October 1st, on Green Street, Presbytery car park and Parish car park as Green Street will be open from 6pm on Saturday to 1pm on Sunday.
