Machnamh

Oh ever immaculate Virgin, Mother of Mercy,
Health of the Sick, Refuge of Sinners,
Comfortess of the Afflicted, you know my wants, my troubles, my sufferings.
Look upon me with mercy.
When you appeared in the grotto of Lourdes,
you made it a privileged sanctuary where you dispense your favours, and where many sufferers have obtained the cure of their infirmities, both spiritual and corporal.
I come, therefore, with unbounded confidence to implore your maternal intercession.
My loving Mother, obtain my request.
I will try to imitate your virtues
so that I may one day share
your company and bless you in eternity. Amen.

Pastoral Ministry Course 2017 – 2018
A Pastoral Ministry Course, run by the Diocese of Kerry will be held in Dingle in the Autumn 2017 and Spring 2018. 4 Saturdays in the Autumn and 4 Saturdays in the Spring, one day per month. Anybody interested should contact Fr. Joe or the Presbytery on 066-9151208 as soon as possible. The course is open to all involved in Parish Ministry as well as any other parishioners. We will be in touch shortly with those who have indicated that they would like to take part.
Stations – Invitation
Celebrating the Station Mass in the home enables us to share our faith at the table of the Eucharist inviting the Lord’s blessing on our community. Gathering after the Mass, meeting and chatting with neighbours is also an important part of the occasion. We welcome anyone who would like to host a station Mass in their home this Spring season. To arrange a date, please contact the Parish Office 066-9151208.

Smaoineamh

The Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, is the world day of the sick. We remember all our sick, in hospitals, nursing homes and at home. Lourdes in the south west of France is a place where love heals. Everyone is touched in some way by such genuine love and care. The difference that such love can make is something that touches everyone who visits Lourdes. We can help to ensure that God’s love is shared and received. All of us are instruments of God’s healing love. We pray for our sick today and we also include all those who look after our sick as well.

Pray for Jackie Dowling, Minard West; Pauline O’Leary, Chapel Lane;
