Jesus illuminated a dark scene with the radiance of his compassion. There is a marvellous lesson here for us. It’s easy to condemn others. We must learn from the example of Jesus not to condemn. The very act of condemning another involves a sin. There surely is a time to correct another. But there is an art in doing so. It consists in being totally kind and totally honest at the same time. We must look to ourselves. We must be willing to extend to others the same compassion we would like to receive.

Anam Cara Kerry, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Parent Evening on Tuesday 9th April at 7:20pm in Recovery Haven, 5 Haig’s Terrace, Killierisk, Tralee, Co. Kerry. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not.
Parkinson’s Awareness week 8th April – South Kerry Branch will hold an informal gathering on Monday 8th April from 7pm to 9pm at the Church of the Resurrection Pastoral Centre, Killarney for people living with Parkinson’s and their carers. Dietician will be available and get some information leaflets and there will be teas/refreshments available also.
