Machnamh

Don’t let your life slip through your fingers
by living in the past.
By living your life one day at a time,
you live all the days of your life.

Don’t give up when you still have
something to give.
Nothing is really over until
the moment you stop trying.

Don’t be afraid to admit
that you are less than perfect.
It is this fragile thread that binds
us to each other.

Smaoineamh

When we put ourselves in God’s hands, we open ourselves to enjoy the full grace of God’s protection. We resemble the birds of the air and the lilies of the field. And we are able to live life, to celebrate the present moment.
Entrust the past to God’s mercy, the present to his love and the future to his providence.
