Shrine of the Little Flower
The statue of St. Therése of Lisieux is place in the baptistery Chapel of St. Mary’s Parish Church. As some parishioners have requested a candlestand before the shrine, Dingle Parish Pastoral Council has taken the decision to invite the newly established Irish company St. Killian’s to provide this service.
“St. Killian’s system has the advantages of being a safer, cleaner and more eco-friendly way of burning candles. Internationally St. Killian’s is recognised as a revolutionary system for candles and with this success we are currently exporting to twelve different countries throughout Europe and North America. It has been totally designed, developed and manufactured here in Ireland. Supporting Irish industry and Irish Jobs. It is with pride we present St. Killian’s system in your church.”
“For me, prayer is like a ship being
launched into the sea;
in prayer, I am carried toward God.”

Naomh Tomás: Is é Naomh Patrún gach scoláire agus coláiste é Naomh Thomas Aquinas. Dochtúir agus sagart ab ea é. Ar an 28ú Eanair atá a lá féile. Saolaíodh é i Aquino san Iodáil ag deireadh na bliana 1226. Mac é le Landulph, Count Aquino. Nuair a bhí Tomás cúig bliana d-aois chuir a athair fé chúram na Benedictines i Monte Casino é. Chuir Tomás iontas ar a mhúinteoirí cé chomh tapa agus a d’fhoghlaim sé agus na buanna maithe ar fad a bhí aige. Chuaigh Tomás ar aghaidh chun saol fada a chaitheamh agus chuaigh sé timpeall an domhain ag teagasc in áiteanna difriúla mar shagart Dominicánach. (Eoghan – Scoil Cheann Trá)
