Gentle Mary, we pray …

for hearts of courage that we may accept

the will of God.

Attentive Mary, we pray …

for hearts of wisdom that we may hear

the word of God and respond to it in our lives.

Compassionate Mary, we pray …

For hearts of love that we may act in a

spirit of charity and service.

Mother Mary, we pray …

For hearts of discipleship that we may be

led to live in God’s ways.

Fr Jim Sheehy will hold 2 talks, on Pope Francis’ recent Exhortation: ‘Rejoice and be Glad’ at An Díseart on Thursday 17th and 24th of May, 8.00pm to 9.30pm. This call to holiness of life is very much a sharing, of Pope Francis’ own spiritual life, but also, of his reflections on the holiness of so many “ordinary” people who in their daily lives seek to live by the spirit of the Gospel, especially, as set down by Jesus in his ‘Sermon on the Mount’ (Luke 6: 20 – 23) and as witnessed to in his life. There will be an opportunity for discussion and each session will conclude with a short prayer service.
