Prayer For The Dead

God, thank you for the special people in our lives
whom we are remembering here today.
We thank you that you are a compassionate God
who walks with us in our dark moments
of grief and loneliness.

We are thankful for all who continue to love
and support us in our grief.
Continue to be a light for us, giving us hope,
direction and courage.

May we now live our lives treasuring the memories
of those special people we have known and loved
and help us to bring light and hope to others.

We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen

HOLY SOULS – NOVEMBER MASSES
Holy Souls – November Masses will continue to be celebrated in our Parish churches remembering all those named by you in our Parish November Lists. You will find the purple coloured list in the envelope delivered to your homes recently. Spare envelopes and blank lists are available at the back of the 3 Churches.
A triduum of Masses will be celebrated for those on the lists:
Naomh Caitlín – ar 7.30i.n. Samhain 14ú, 15ú agus 16ú.
St. Mary’s – at 7.30pm. November 21st, 22nd and 23rd.

November Offerings
Sincere thanks to all who have returned the November Offerings and list. If you have not done so, we would appreciate your returning them as soon as possible. Your list of the dead can be placed with the offering in the envelope provided. Le Mór-Bhuíochas.

Smaoineamh

It is never possible to measure faith like we do when we measure height or weight. Our belief in a God who loves us is the main cornerstone of our faith. Everything else is built from and around this cornerstone. Some people may be struggling to find or even see this cornerstone. We can gently point the way forward by doing our best with what we have and leading by good example. When this is done quietly and without fuss the results can often be extraordinary. Helping someone to find or renew their faith may not always be our first priority. But we often do it without even realising it.

Pray for Fr. Micheál O’Leary, Glasgow and late of Dingle.
Suaimhneas síoraí dá anam.
