Smaoineamh

Today, we are challenged to go forth from our comfort zones to reach out to those who are still in need of the light of the Gospel. We do so through prayer, witness of life and the sharing of resources to respond to the vast and pressing needs of evangelisation. We want others to share in the joy and the love with which the Father sent his Son into the world and through the Spirit grants us a share in his life, even now here on earth, and after death in heaven for all eternity. Today, World Mission Sunday, is an opportunity to rekindle the desire to take a joyful part in the Church’s mission to the nations.
