Prayer in Time of Illness

You knew what weakness was, dear Lord,
Give me the strength I need.
Your everlasting arms beneath,
To help me to succeed.

Stay close beside me every hour,
And hear me when I call.
I need You, how I need You, Lord,
My Love – my life – my all.

Wedding Anniversaries
Significant wedding anniversaries (10, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 and 60 years) will be celebrated at the Vigil Mass on Saturday November 4th. If any couple were married in a church outside of Dingle Parish and would like to be included, please contact the parish office on 066-9151208 by October 27th.

Dues Envelopes
The Autumn Dues and November Offering Envelopes 2017 have been distributed to households in the past week, Fr. Joe would like to thank you for your support and generosity. Donations from these two envelopes support your priest’s income. Táimíd buíoch do gach éinne a thugann na clúdaigh litreach go dtí na teaghlaigh.
We appreciate you returning these envelopes at your earliest convenience either in the weekly collection or into the boxes at the back of the Churches. Spare Autumn Dues envelopes are available at the back of the three parish churches. Please make any cheque payable to Teach na Sagart. Buíochas ó chroí.

Smaoineamh
No one can say that Jesus didn’t live in the real world. He did. He experienced its ugliness himself. But he didn’t answer it with more ugliness. He triumphed over evil by good. He has become a model for all those who suffer unjustly in the cause of right. And he challenges us, his followers, the tenants of the new vineyard, to produce the fruits of justice, love and peace. It’s a great privilege and a great challenge too.

Pray for Caitlín Uí Chathasaigh, Bóthar Breac; Henry Buckley, Radharc na Mara and late of Kilcormac, Co. Offaly; Dan Joe Culloty, Killarney and Dingle.
