Do This In Memory – Déanaigí É Seo i gCuimhne

Our next joint Liturgy will be next weekend the 17th/18th of April. Families are asked to occupy the front seats at the designated Masses. We remind and invite all participating families to bring their “Do This in Memory” Candle which they can use during Family Prayer time at their Sacred Space at home.

Trócaire and Dues Envelopes

Extra envelopes for Stations and Easter Dues are  available at the back of the Church .

Please remember to return your Trócaire Boxes during the coming week if you have not already done so. Your support of Trócaire is vital as the Lenten campaign is the most significant source of income for Trócaire each year.

Buíochas ó chroí for your great generosity.

Excess of Income over expenditure for the year €46,780.75. During the year, the parish made deposits of €35,000 to the Kerry Parochial Trust to provide for future income and capital expenditure.

Note A: Income Item 7 and Expenditure Item 18 cancel each other out almost exactly because these figures represent the second collections taken up at various times during the year.  These monies are sent on to the Diocese for distribution. The discrepancy of €393 consists of money for Trócaire in 2008 and returned to the Diocese in 2009.

Note B: This ‘other income’ is primarily money received Allianz due to insurance claims made in previous years.

Note C: This tax rebate is made possible by those PAYE households who made use of their envelopes and who returned the ‘taxback’ form last year.  We sincerely thank all of you who signed up to this appeal and ask all householders who verifiably contribute €250 or more to our Parish to consider doing likewise in our 2010 campaign.

Note D: The Rathmore Fund provides for the welfare of the Sick and Retired Priests of the Kerry Diocese. We invite all of you who are supporting this Diocesan Fund by Direct Debit to kindly inform Teach na Sagart so that your gift to the Diocese may be included in Dingle Parish taxback campaign as in Note C above.
