(1) Geallúintí Na Leanaí:

(i) An ngeallann sibh go n-éisteoidh sibh leis na daoine a chabhróidh libh foghlaim mar gheall ar Dhia agus an grá atá ag Íosa dúinn?

GEALLAMID

(ii) An ngeallann sibh go dtiocfaidh sibh ar Aifreann, go n-éisteoidh sibh le Briathar Dé, agus go ndéarfaidh sibh paidreacha le bhur muintir sa bhaile?                                             GEALLAMID

(2) Geallúintí na dtuismitheoirí / na gcaomhnóirí:

Sagart: An ngeallann sibh grá agus tacaíocht a thabhairt do na leanaí seo agus iad ag ullmhú do cheiliúradh a gcéad Aithrí agus a gCéad Chomaoineach?                               GEALLAMID

(3) Geallúintí an Phobail:

(i) Sagart: An gcreideann sibh i nDia an tAthair uilechumhachtach, cruthaitheoir neimhe agus talún?                                                  CREIDIMID

(ii) Sagart: An gcreideann sibh in Íosa Chríost, a Aon Mhacsan, ár dTiarna, a rugadh ó Muire Ógh, a céasadh, a fuair bás agus a adhlacadh, a d’éirigh ó mhairbh, agus atá anois ina shuí ar dheis a Athair?                                   CREIDIMID

(iii) Sagart: An gcreideann sibh sa Spiorad Naomh, sa Naomh Eaglais Chaitliceach, i gcomaoin na naomh, i maithiúnas na bpeacaí, in aiséirí na colainne agus sa bheatha shíoraí?

CREIDIMID

Agus sinn a ghealladh seo, go dtuga grá Dé an tAthair cabhair dúinn; go dtreoraí solas Íosa sinn agus go neartaí an Spiorad Naomh sinn. AMEN

When Death Touches Us, O Sacred Heart

A Chroí Rónaofa Íosa, táimidne bailithe le chéile anseo inniu chun a admháil agus chun a fhógairt don saol gur tusa a bheidh againn i do Rí thar ríthe.

Bí farainn, a Chroí Rónaofa Íosa, nuair a chruinnímid i dteannta a chéile, rathaigh ár ngnóthaí spioradálta agus ár gcúraimí saolta, coinnigh i bhfad uainn an t-anró, naomhaigh ár só agus tóg dínn ár gcruatan. Má bhíonn sé de mhí-ádh ar éinne againn masla a thabhairt duit, cuir in iúl dó, a Chroí Íosa, go bhfuil do Chroí lán de thrócaire agus de thrua don pheacach a dhéanamh aithrí.

Agus nuair a thiocfaidh an t-am go mbeidh orainn scaradh óna chéile, nuair a chuirfidh an bás faoi bhrón sinn, glacfaimid go léir go fonnmhar fáilteach le hordú síoraí do thola, an chuid againn a chaithfidh imeacht, agus an chuid againn a fhágfar go huaigneach.

An uair sin beidh aon rud amháin a thabharfaidh sólás dúinn, an smaoineamh go dtiocfaidh lá fós nuair a bheidh an teaghlach seo bailithe le chéile arís, sna Flaithis, ag tabhairt moladh agus buíochas agus glóire duitse ar feadh na síoraíochta.

Moladh go deo le Croí Rónaofa Íosa, ár nArd Rí agus ár nAthair.          (Gairdín an Anama -An Sagart)

Lord Jesus Christ, give us courage to face the change and partings of life. When death touches us, make us calm and strong in hope, and a comfort to one another. In that hour, be very close to us. Trusting in your love, may we learn to look forward in joyful hope to being united in you forever. Amen          (The Veritas Book of Blessing Prayers)

Macnamh – Conradh Liospóin 2/10/2009

“Is den ghéillsine don údarás agus den chomhfhreagracht sa leas coiteann an dualgas morálta chun cánacha a íoc, an ceart vótála a chur i ngníomh agus an tír a chosaint:

Tá cónaí ar Chríostaithe ian dtír dhúchais féin, ach mar a bheadh eachtrannaigh gan acu ach ceart áitribh. Déanann siad a ndualgais uile mar shaoránaigh a chomhall agus glacann lena bhfuil d’fheidhm agus de fhreagracht acu mar a bheadh eachtrannaigh iontu (…). Tá siad géilliúil do na dlíthe atá i bhfeidhm, ach beireann a nós maireachtála barr ar na dlíthe (…). Chomh huasal sin don ionad atá ceaptha ag Dia dóibh nach ceadmhach dóibh é a thréigean.” 2240

Tá Sam Maguire sa Ríocht

Former All-Ireland winning Captain Dara Ó Cinnéide reflects on the true reason for Kerry’s win in Saturday’s Irish Examiner: “The performance of Marc Ó Sé, Tommy Griffin and Tom O’Sullivan in the full-back line last Sunday will be the abiding memory for many Kerry people… Winter evenings from here to Christmas will be dominated by stories of Paul Galvin’s rehabilitation, of Darragh Ó Sé’s compelling swansong…” Comhghairdeas also to Tomás Ó Sé, Diarmaid Ó Murchú, Ronán Ó Flatharta, a gcompánaigh agus roghnóirí na Ríochta 2009.
