Machnamh

When we miss the beauty and
the joy of earth’s goodness
Response: God, surprise us again.
When we grow too accustomed to life’s busyness
R.: God surprise us again.
When the goodness of others gets lost in the rush
R.: God, surprise us again
When our frailty outruns our strength
R.: God, surprise us again
When the hope in our hearts fades away
R.: God, surprise us again.

Smaoineamh
The miracle of Jesus should make us thankful to God for the food we have, and careful not to waste it. The miracle of the multiplication of the loaves is a miracle of generosity. We experience that generosity every time we sit down to eat and especially when we receive the Eucharist. The experience of generosity should result in an enlarging of our hearts, and a desire to be generous towards those who are not as fortunate as ourselves.
Pray for Tadhg Lynch, Main Street. Suaimhneas síoraí dá anam.
