It gives us a new and wider vision. It gives an eternal dimension to our lives. We live in the hope that the words of Jesus will come true for us: ‘Where I am, you too shall be.’ Meanwhile we have a task to do: to preach the Gospel and to be his witnesses in the world.

‘Gaudete et Exultate’, ‘Rejoice and be Glad,’
Fr Jim Sheehy will hold 2 talks, on Pope Francis’ recent Exhortation: ‘Rejoice and be Glad’ at An Díseart on Thursday 17th and 24th of May, 8.00pm to 9.30pm. This call to holiness of life is very much a sharing, of Pope Francis’ own spiritual life, but also, of his reflections on the holiness of so many “ordinary” people who in their daily lives seek to live by the spirit of the Gospel, especially, as set down by Jesus in his ‘Sermon on the Mount’ (Luke 6: 20 – 23) and as witnessed to in his life. There will be an opportunity for discussion and each session will conclude with a short prayer service.

The Kerry Diocesan Eucharistic Adoration Retreat this year is on at The Ardfert Retreat centre on the May 31st. 2018 – last Thursday of May.
Killarney Diabetes Support Group: HSE Dietician, Ciara McGowan will speak on Wednesday the 16th May the Dromhall Hotel at 8pm. Questions and answers with tea and coffee afterwards. All welcome.
