Bon Secour Hospital Mass for the Dead: Mass will be celebrated in the Bon Secours Hospital Chapel at 7.30pm on Wednesday, 11th November for Patients who died in the Hospital during the past year, and for their loved ones. All family members, relatives and friends are welcome.
Meeting for Parents of Dingle Primary School in Benner’s Hotel on Thursday November 12th at 7.30pm. This meeting, which is being chaired by Fiona Shanley from St.Senan’s Education Office (Diocesan Office), is for all parents and prospective parents of Bunscoil an Clochair (Dingle Girls Primary School) and Scoil Iognáid Rís.(Dingle Boys Primary School). The meeting is to discuss the progress made in relation to the amalgamation of these schools and to seek the views of parents and prospective parents on the future of primary education.

Fr. Seán McDonagh, Columban Missionary and Eco-Theologian will give a talk about the Climate Conference in Paris on November 6th in the Meadowlands Hotel at 7.30pm.
The Irish Pilgrimage Trust are now accepting applications for their Easter Pilgrimage to Lourdes. Young people aged 11-30 yrs with a variety of special needs including physical and medical conditions like epilepsy or diabetes. This pilgrimage provides respite care for parents and guardians and a free trip for the young person. The closing date for application is Thursday Nov. 12th. New Famine Chapel
The newly built Famine Chapel on Cnoc a’ Chairn, Dingle will be officially opened and blessed by Mons Pádraig Ó Fiannachta on Monday next, November 2nd.
Mass will be celebrated at the site at 3pm followed by a reception in An Díseart and all are welcome.
New Parish Newsletter
Next week our newsletter format will change to A4 size. The entire newsletter will be prepared at parish level. Mass readings will be on a separate sheet. Thanks to all who contribute to our newsletter.
Parish Visitation
Fr. Joe will continue his visit to households in the parish by visiting homes in Cathair Boilg and Cillirith next week.
Special Wedding Anniversaries
Special Wedding Anniversaries will be celebrated during the Vigil Mass of December 5th next at 8pm in St. Mary’s Church, Dingle. Details to follow later.
Laudato Si – An Díseart Talks
Fr. Jim Sheehy series of talks on Pope Frances’ recent Encyclical “Laudato Si: On care for Our Common Home,” continues in the Pádraig Ó Fiannachta Room at An Díseart on Thursdays, 8.00 to 9.30.
The Programme:
1. Thursday 5th of November: Global warming, Climate Change and Poverty.
2. Thursday 12th of November: Ecology and Spirituality.
3. Thursday 19th of November: Dialogue: A conversation that includes everyone
4. Thursday 26th of November: “The World Peace Diet” ….Exploring the consequences of our food choices. This talk will be given by Helen Higgins.
There will be an opportunity for discussion and prayer. No charge but a donation to An Díseart to cover costs of heating and lighting would be appreciated.
World Youth Day 2016
World Youth Day (WYD) is an International Festival which gathers young people from all over the world. It will be held in Krakow, Poland from Tuesday, July 26th until Sunday, July 31st. The Diocese of Kerry are planning to bring a group of young adults (18 – 35) to participate in this exciting event. The cost is €1,200 per person of which the parish will contribute a portion. If you are interested in taking part, please contact the parish office on 066-9151208. Leaflets are available at the back of the Churches.

Choir Workshop with Dr. John O’Keeffe
On Monday, November 16th, there will be a choir workshop in St. John’s Parish Centre in Tralee from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Choir members from all parishes invited to attend.
