Just a Thought / Smaoineamh
During this month of November many visit a cemetery, say a prayer for a loved one who has died and decorate a grave with a flower or a nightlight. Any prayer is always good. In prayer we stand in God’s presence and in praying for those who have died we are in some way connected with them. Our nearest and dearest who have gone on before us will always have a special place in our hearts. They will never be forgotten.

Envelopes: €1,280; Cash: €751. Total: €2,031. Míle buíochas. Diocesan Collection for Irish Church Commissions and Agencies will be taken up this weekend Nov 7th/8th as a second collection after Communion.

Cór Naomh Muire – Choir practise Tuesday night in the Presbytery meeting room at 8.15pm. New members welcome.
Bon Secour Hospital Mass will be celebrated in the Hospital Chapel, 7.30pm on Wed, Nov. 11th Nov for Patients who died in the Hospital during the past year.
West Kerry Community Hospital Mass for those who died in the last year Wednesday November 25th at 11.00am.
Meeting for Parents of Bunscoil an Chlochair and Scoil Iognáid Rís in Benner’s Hotel on Thursday Nov 12th at 7.30pm. This meeting is being chaired by Fiona Shanley from St.Senan’s Education Office (Diocesan Office) and is for all parents and prospective parents. The meeting is to discuss the progress made in relation to the amalgamation of these schools and to seek the views of parents and prospective parents on the future of primary education.
Laudato Si – An Díseart Talks with Fr. Jim Sheehy continue on Thursday 8.00 – 9.00pm. Next week’s talk is on Ecology and Spirituality.

Special Wedding Anniversaries will be celebrated during the Vigil Mass of December 5th at 8pm in St. Mary’s Church, Dingle. More details later.
Recruitment
We are currently recruiting altar servers for our three churches. Letters are being sent to parents/guardians of pupils in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes. Training will be given to servers before they begin. We appreciate the support of parents/guardians.
